The Usa figure skaters striving to be their "true selves" in a sport that oftentimes carries stereotypes

Ashley Cain-Gribble and Timothy LeDuc are preparing to compete in their first Winter Olympics – the peak of their eventful, and often challenging, effigy skating careers.

Shiffrin registered her third did-not-end (DNF) at the Games afterward falling during the tall combined issue.

On Thursday, the 26-year-old published five posts on her Instagram Stories with the first iv showing words and phrases written in text filled with harsh criticism, including "choker," "Can't handle the pressure level," "Arrogant," and "Disgrace. Unacceptable."

Shiffrin concluded with a 5th post that offered encouragement, writing in part, "Well kids…feed 'em what you lot wanna feed em. Cocky pity, sadness… Let the turkey'south (sic) become you downwards. In that location will always be turkeys. Or go upwards, again. Once more. Again. Again. Again. Again. Once again.
